Final Fantasy XIV Guide - What To Look For In A Good FFXIV Guide?

This article will clear up the confusion surrounding FFXIV guides and tell you what they can help you with and whether or not you need one.

The main thing to stress is that a Final Fantasy XIV guide is normally created by a top player of the game and they CAN be helpful in tasks such as leveling, making Gil and generally speeding up the process of the game.

However they do not normally contain any secrets that you cannot find out on your own.

Sure if you want to find out the leveling path, Gil making strategies and professions all on your own I am not saying that is easy either, but it is possible and if you put a lot of time into the game then you may want to do things that way around.

So what should you look for in a good FFXIV Guide?

Well the first thing is to make sure that you have a full guarantee. There are a few different guides out there and of course you will not know what the quality is like until you have purchase one so a guarantee is a must.

The more proof that you can see on the actual site will make it easier to spot a good guide from a bad one.

Another thing that you must make sure the guide contains is a leveling path for ALL races and classes. You see they all have different starting points and if you get yourself a guide that only has one or two you will be confined to them as your choice.

Lastly make sure before you even purchase a FFXIV guide that you make contact and ask a few questions, this is always good because you will see how long it takes them to respond and also it is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the actual guide.

I hope this article has told you what to look for in a good Final Fantasy XIV guide and remember to put the hours into the game, which is the best way to see results.

Final Fantasy XIV Leveling Guide - 3 Tips To Make Sure You Get An Awesome FFXIV Walkthrough!

This article will help explain what you should look for in a good FFXIV Leveling guide or walkthrough to make sure that it will indeed help you level effectively.

You see it can be quite a task leveling up in the game and you probably already know this if you are looking for more information about FFXIV Leveling guides.

The main benefit of a Final Fantasy XIV Leveling guide I find is not the fact that you will not see any of the information inside. You will if you browse through enough forums and ask enough questions, but you will also find that people are not quick to give out their secrets with the game.

So in essence if you are looking for it all laid out for you then a good guide or walkthrough can of course help with this.

Here are 3 tips that will help you pick a good FFXIV Leveling guide:

Make sure you get maps!

The main thing that you will want in the guide is maps and even better waypoints, the universe of Eorzea is massive and even if you get good written instructions that are step by step nothing can beat pictures so make sure you get these.

All Races!

There are many races in Final Fantasy XIV and the interesting thing and also slightly annoying thing about this MMORG is that you will have to pay a fee to start another race from the one you choose at the start.

Make sure that the FFXIV Leveling guide does not confine you to one race.

There are different starting areas and leveling paths you see so make sure that you get all of the races to pick from.

Gil Is The New Gold!

It was gold in World of Warcraft, now you have to make Gil in FFXIV and to make sure that you are leveling fast you will need to know how to make money in the game so a full section, or even better a separate guide that shows you how to make Gil in the game is an awesome idea to make sure you are making good progress.

I know I said 3 tips but another one that you may want to look for is FREE updates - as the game is changing all the time it is a good idea to make sure you are covered by the guide you pick and you do not have to pay again!

I hope this article has told you what to look for in a good FFXIV Leveling guide and wish you luck in your adventures!

FFXIV Leveling Guide: Final Fantasy 14 Class Guide - Learn Everything You Need To Know About Classes In FF XIV

Looking for a quick Final Fantasy 14 class guide to help you understand how the classes are laid out, and how they each level? Let's get into it and find out a few tips that you can take to the game today to help you power level throughout the game.

How Classes Are Laid Out In Final Fantasy XIV

Unlike other games, these classes are all laid out under specific Disciplines, which will influence what class you actually are. For instance, there are four Disciplines in Final Fantasy 14.

Discipline of the Hand, Land, War, and Magic. As you can imagine, each of these has something to do with what class you'll actually be. For example, Disciples of War are usually gladiators, warriors, and those kinds of units that use physical and brute force to defeat their enemies. Magic, of course, would consist of sorcerers, wizards, and mages - which are very powerful but weaker up close. Gatherers and crafters are disciples of the hand and land.

How Leveling Differs with Each Class You Use (Important)

This is one of the key differences in this game, and something that should be gone over in any good Final Fantasy 14 class guide. The thing that is different is the way that you level when you're a different class. If you're a disciple of war, you're going to be a warrior or something similar that "fights" his way up through the levels by defeating mobs and completing quests. However, if you're a disciple of the hand, or a disciple of the land - like a fisher, you will gain levels by doing what your class does: fishing! This makes it very easy for more passive people to level up in the game.

Using A Step by Step Leveling & Gil Making Guide For Any Class

If you need a bit more help with power leveling your characters and earning lots of gil, then I recommend you to download a step by step mastery guide.

FFXIV Leveling Guide: Final Fantasy 14 Walkthrough - Leveling And Gil Making Walkthrough For FFXIV

If you're just starting out the game and you need a quick Final Fantasy 14 walkthrough to help you get used to it then I have a few tips that can help you out. Let's get into it and go over a few key things that you should know when beginning your adventure to reaching level 50 in Final Fantasy XIV.

Questing, The Root of All Experience

I know that you can level up through the game by not doing any quests, but I don't recommend that at all. For one, when you don't use questing as an experience tool, you're stuck with grinding. This is a really, really tedious and tough way to gain levels because there's nothing taking your mind off of what you're doing. It's very repetitive and you'll probably become very frustrated in the process.

Accept Quests in One Place At A Time

To power level you should avoid from getting quests from different areas. You should always try to focus on the one area that you're in, and then move on once you've done all the quests there. This is really important because I think that a lot of people make the same mistake of accepting a quest in a far off distance, doing it, and then going all the way back to turn it in. You should focus on one spot, then move to another. It's just more efficient.

Take Up Crafting or Gathering to Make Gil

Gil is the currency of the game - the money that you can use to buy things and trade items. Everybody needs a certain amount of Gil in the game, and I think that if you were to take up a "professional" class, whether it being a gatherer or a crafter, you can easily make a ton of Gil so that when you reach level 50 you have a lot to spend on gear and other items that can further benefit your character.

FFXIV Leveling and Guide Review

With the recent release of FFXIV (Final Fantasy 14) a number of people are looking for help in starting the journey through Eorzea due to the rather steep learning curve of Final Fantasy 14. In this article we aim to cover a few of the basics while providing advice on what guides to look for.

After you have created your new character in FFXIV you will find yourself in Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, or Ul'dah depending on where you chose to begin. After the initial cinematic you will find yourself within the city's walls with little direction. To begin your true journey you can start the city's initial tutorial quest which will take you through several areas of the city you chose to start in. While getting around takes some time to get used to, the opening quests are rather straight forward. Many walkthroughs are available for these and can easily be found. The problem arises when you look to continue from that point forward.

The easiest way to level is by completing levequests. You can find levequests at the Adventurers' Guild in the city you begin in. The opening quest line will bring you right by them.

In Limsa Lominsa you will want to speak to Piralnaut or T'mokkri inside The Drunken Wench.
In Gridania you will want to speak to Gontrant or Tierney inside Carline Canopy.
In Ul'dah you will want to speak to Totonawa or Eustace inside The Quicksand.

You can only complete 8 regional levequests every 36 hours currently. Square is considering lowering this (it was 48 hours during Beta).

The trick to leveling quickly is to pick up as many levequests as possible and going to the related camp to complete them all at once. However, you do not want to forget about the local levequests - this is where you can really level quickly. You can complete as many local levequests as are available which will result in a lot of experience. Often you will receive nearly 6,000 experience per local levequest.

Local levequests are crafting tasks where you must create certain items and deliver them to the NPC noted on the leve. Besides the experience and rewards the best thing about local levequests is that all the materials are provided for you! This means you do not have to waste money leveling your crafting skills or spend countless hours grinding to increase your physical level.

This also means that once you have connected to the other 2 city states you can complete dozens of levequests every 36 hours. Connecting to the other cities is easier than you may think, but you will want a map to guide you there.

After you have made it to about level 13 things become a bit more difficult and this is when you will want a full guide to level efficiently. You can hit the level cap within a couple weeks with the right guides.

FFXIV Leveling Strategy - What You Need To Know In Order To Level Fast In FFXIV!

This article will tell you more about FFXIV and the way the leveling system works but more importantly it will also give you a few tips that you can use if you are getting stuck in the game to level up faster.

So let us cover the basics first:

How do you level in FFXIV?
The leveling in FFXIV is the same as any MMORG really. There was talk before it was launched about the leveling system being totally different to other games of this type like World of Warcraft, but really once you get in the game you will see that it is the same process.

The only difference is that with FFXIV you will normally go to a camp and get the main leveling quests which are called Leves. There is certain time restraints to these quests and you will also be able to set the difficulty of each one before you play through.

Obviously the higher the difficulty the more XP you get.

So as you can see it is the same sort of thing as other MMORG's you have most likely played.

Now let us move onto the tips that you can use to level faster in FFXIV:

How to level fast in FFXIV?

Learn From The Best: It is a really good idea when you are starting out to join a few forums where you will be able to chat about the game and of course because you are all playing the game you can pick up loads of tips on how to level fast.

The downside is that you will need to get known by the community before they start giving all their secrets away but in the long run it can be worth it for all the knowledge you can acquire.

Don't Forget About Money: The money in the game is called Gil and you MUST make sure that you always have enough of it. I learnt this lesson the hard way and after making good progress with the leveling in the game I had to go back and learn crafting to get my Gil higher.

If you don't do this you will not have the best weapons and armour either so always focus on your professions as well as leveling up.

Plan Your Route: This is most important. Make sure that you plan your route before you start leveling because the game is really open ended and if you do not do this you can end up getting lost and the game can become hard work.

Ask in the forums for the best way to start leveling.

I hope this article has told you a bit more about leveling strategies in FFXIV and given you some tips that you can use to level fast.

FFXIV Leveling - 3 Keys To Leveling Fast In Final Fantasy 14!

This article will give you some tips if you are looking for help with leveling up n Final Fantasy 14. With most MMORG's the main aim is to level and build up your character as quickly as possible because then you get to see the best content that they usually pack into the later stages of the game.

So if you want to know how to level fast in FFXIV follow these tips:

Know where you are going:

Eorzea is a massive virtual world and with updates coming out all the time it is only set to grow and the level cap will increase from 50 soon.

So it is important that you keep an eye on the quests that you have active and stay focused because you go on it is really easy to get lost or lose track and then you will not be able to level up so quickly.

This will help you with your leveling a lot.

Interact:

Another awesome way to speed up your leveling is to join some forums and interact with as many people as you can. You may be able to join up and make a group which will help you level faster or at the very least you will be able to pick up some tips from the pros and ask questions.

An extra helping hand:

One thing to consider if you really want the game opened up for you is a FFXIV leveling guide and normally this will be a guide that has been created by someone that has been through the game and then put the exact route down.

As long as you make sure that you get a full guarantee and also maps and screenshots to guide you through you should be fine.

Of course the main thing that will help you more than anything if you want to level fast in FFXIV is time playing the game.

The longer you focus on leveling up and learning the game the more successful you will be with leveling fast.

I hope this article has given you some tips that you can use if you want to level fast in FFXIV and stick at it and you will get there!

I will be writing some more articles with hints and tips on how to level fast in specific areas shortly so keep an eye out for them.

FFXIV Guide - What Makes A Good FFXIV Leveling Guide?

There is a lot of debate about FFXIV leveling guides so I have decided to write this article and tell you a few things that you should know about these guides so it will help you make your mind up on whether or not you need one.

Firstly a FFXIV Leveling guide although it is a useful resource it is not the be all and end all of leveling and you don't need one to make fast progress through the game. You can work out the path on your own and if you put enough time in the game you can level up quickly using knowledge that you have acquired and I daresay it will make you a better player like this.

However if you are at your wits end with the game and you are thinking of cancelling then it can be useful to use a leveling guide to get back on track and see some of the later content in the game.

More often than not FFXIV Leveling guides are used by players that are racing to try and get to level 50 first.

So do you need a guide?

It really depends on how you play the game and if you are one of the players that don't really care about seeing all of the content and you are just determined to level fast then it can help you greatly. The downside to this is that you will miss out big chunks of the game because most of these guides will not focus on quests that take too much time.

So if you want to experience all of the game and see everything you are best off not racing to level 50 and taking your time.

If you are ready to give up and are not getting much success at the forums then it can be worth it to give a good leveling guide a go.

I hope this article has told you more about FFXIV guides and what they can do for you.

The main thing is to remember that the more time you spend playing the better your progress will be and there is really no easy way to get around this.

FFXIV Leveling Guide - Do You Need One To Make Your Way Through Eorzea?

If you are looking for information on a FFXIV Leveling guide then this article will help you and tell you a few things that a good guide can do for you in the game, who they are for and also some of the limitations of a levelling guide.

First off Final Fantasy 14 is very new and there is a huge rush of players that are trying to reach the level cap. As with most MMORG's this means that the most hardcore gamers will actually stay up several nights in a row just to beat the game and claim that they got to the level cap first.

In this instance with FFXIV the level cap is currently 50 and there are different starting zones depending on what race you are.

So do you need a FFXIV Leveling Guide to play the game?
No you don't!

If you enjoy playing the game and you are not bothered about how long it takes you to reach the level cap and are more geared toward enjoying the awesome artwork and the atmosphere that the game offers then a levelling guide will not help you much.

Basically the problem with a FFXIV Leveling guide is the fact that the main aim of the guide is to see you through the game as quickly as possible and if this is your goal then that is great.

However if you want to experience EVERYTHING in the game and take your time then you will miss a great deal of the game.

So to conclude you should only use a levelling guide for Final Fantasy 14 if you know that you want to try and race to the end of the game as quickly as possible.

The other thing that you need to make sure is that you get a good guide as since the game has launched there are a few of them out there.

Just make sure that you get a guide that gives you full maps as well as screenshots as you do not want just a text based guide as there is a chance that you will end up getting lost.

Also make sure that the guide gives you a leveling guide for all races as it will not be able to tell which race you are playing as.

Lastly free updates is a must as FFXIV is always changing and updating so make sure you do not have to pay again for the updated guide.

I hope this article has told you how to go about picking a good FFXIV Leveling guide and who they will cater for.

Happy Gaming!

A FFXIV Leveling Guide

I started playing FFXIV just recently when it was released last month. Already seeing the potential of the game I wanted to rush ahead to see if this is the game for me. The one issue that FFXIV has that all MMORPG have is the grind that must do to advance in level. This is why I decided to grab a FFXIV levelling guide to speed me on my way.

If you are a big gamer then you know that the more you know about the game you are playing the better you generally are at it. By knowing what quests, I should be taking and what ones I should not be taking I have managed to get near level 30 already. This is what you will get from a FFXIV levelling guide, the knowledge that you need to speed ahead. By using such a guide, you can cut out a lot of wasted time and you will learn the fastest and easiest way to hit the level cap.

I recommend you consider picking up a FFXIV levelling guide and find out what you may be missing. If you are struggling with FFXIV or feel you are being left behind due to lack of play time or not knowing what to do, Then getting your hands on a FFXIV levelling guide may be just what you need.

Most MMORPG's are easy to play and are very direct in what you should be doing, FFXIV on the other hand is a little harder to grasp. This could be because FFXIV is not a western MMORPG. The real benefit to most FFXIV guides is that, they normally include a Gil guide. Therefore, it does not matter what you want from FFXIV. With the use of a FFXIV guide, you can get it.

If you want to be the most powerful player on your server or maybe even the richest player on your server all this is possible with a decent FFXIV levelling guide.

FFXIV Leveling Guide - Do You Need A Final Fantasy 14 Guide In Order To Speed Level?

This article will help you understand more about FFXIV Leveling Guides and what they can and can't help you with. There's a lot of confusion surrounding leveling guides are generally and some people that play massive multiplayer games actually believe you need one in order to compete with the speed runners of the game.

First let us look at how these leveling guides are created, basically before a game of this size is released you will notice that it goes into beta and this means that the best gamers actually get to try the content before it is released to the general public.

To be able to get into the beta you normally have to be quite a high level player and play a lot of the other titles within the company. Either that or know someone that works for the company so they can give you a beta key. The speech runners get their name because they actually joined the beta and then see how fast they can level up to get to the level cap which is currently set at 50. So this is how a leveling guide is made as once they have reached level 50 if there had noted down the exact moves that they made and quests that they did you will have a blueprint to follow if you want to level up fast. Included with a good guide should be maps and screenshots so you know where you are heading and do not get lost. Also another thing that you should know about any FFXIV Leveling Guide is that they are optional and you do not actually need one in order to play the game.

Sure it does make it so much easier to have a set path through the game that has all been done for you but if you want to explore yourself and you're not bothered about being one of the first to level 50 then it may not be for you. The leveling guide can miss out quite a bit of the content in the game because they will just focus on the quickest route through to the end. So in conclusion make sure that you think about the way that you want to play the game and what is important to you before you looking to getting any guide. I hope this article has helped to understand a bit more about what a good guide can and can't do for you and that you enjoy playing Final Fantasy 14.

FFXIV Leveling Guide

Final Fantasy XIV is the latest MMORPG game developed by Square Enix. It's based on the extremely well received and popular Final Fantasy franchise with millions of players and fans. Final Fantasy 14 brings many intriguing elements to the genre and may not appeal to everyone, but most players think very highly of the game. The biggest complaint players have however is slow leveling.

That's why I decided to start off my FF XIV adventure by using a leveling guide. Leveling is done quite differently in FFXIV than in most other MMORPG games. Instead of traditional quests and experience FF14 enables you to advance your characters through the use of different kinds of weapons. For example you can equip a fishing rod, therefore level up a fisherman without having to fight your way through the game. Such is the case with all the classes and disciplines in FFXIV: you advance their skills and gain experience by using their abilities.

Although Final Fantasy XIV developers tried to remove the grinding part of the game, most newbie players will have to grind sooner or later. That's why I think it's important to follow a quality leveling guide which tells you how and where to complete quests. By using a leveling guide you will no doubt level up your character a lot faster than everyone else, and have all the expert information and knowledge about the game ins and outs you'll ever need.

Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) Leveling Guide

One of the best ways to make Gil in Final Fantasy XIV is crafting. Here is the fastest way to make plenty of Gil in the process of leveling your craft. This guide is the answer to finding the cheapest solution for leveling your tradeskill. Players at every possible level will find the most profitable recipes in the crafting guide.

FFXIV Gil

The online currency for Final Fantasy XIV played online is Gil. On your journey it is always of utmost importance on your way to Eorzea. To buy the best armor and weapons for your fight toward level 50, you need the ability to make lots of Gil. Here is a tip: You should never have to buy Gil! It will cost hundreds and your account will be at risk of a ban. Every Gil you need in Final Fantasy XIV can be earned online.

During leveling you can earn Gil.

Take some time to discover during FFXIV leveling how to make Gil. Learn how to use the best levels and the best monsters in your fight to maximize your Gil acquisition during leveling. Combine your leveling strategy with a recommended Final Fantasy XIV strategy guide on your way to a successful achievement of Level 50.

FFXIV Races

You can choose between five different races when you play Final Fantasy XIV. Take for example the Hyur race between Midlanders and Highlanders. Midlanders consider education extremely important so their race is very complex. On the other hand the Highlanders are physical and muscular. The race of the Highlanders is a male only character play, while Midlanders can be either male or female.

Elven characters are found in the Final Fantasy XIV Elezen race. These Elezen characters come from two different sects: Wildwood or Duskwight. The Duskwight, blessed with superior hearing, hide in caves and caverns. The Wildwood prefer to remain in the forest making use of their strong sight. Small humans from the south make up the FFXIV Lalafell race. The is a smart and limber race of characters. The Lalafells are also found in two divisions: plainfolk and Dunesfols.

A bigger and more muscular race called the Roegadyn come from the north in FFXIV. They also have two distinct groups consisting of the Hellsgaurd and the Sea Wolves. A race seen as more cat than human consisting of the Keepers of the Moon and Seekers of the Sun are known as the Miqo'te in Final Fantasy XIV.

FFXIV Leveling Guide: For Players to Level Fast

Final Fantasy XIV online opens up a new and exciting world where players and their friends can play together online. Each group can have 2 players or up to 8 players. Allowing more people to play can make the game more a lot more enjoyable. The enemies in Final Fantasy are highly advanced and are placed all over the game - not grouped in section. Having the enemies scattered all over the game can allow for a more challenging feeling throughout Final Fantasy 14. However, it can make leveling a challenge, which is why many players in FFXIV choose to make use of a good leveling guide.

Players who are leveling in FF XIV are sure to get annoyed when they find themselves running in circles while other players are leveling fast and soaring right by them. I'll never understand how anyone who plays online games like FFXIV would not use a leveling guide. Of course, the fact of the matter may simply be that they just don't know about them. I know when I first started playing Final Fantasy and WoW I sure didn't know how people were leveling so fast. That is until a friend let me in on the secret!

As with most of these kinds of games, there are many things to level. Leveling different disciplines gives players a lot of different play styles to choose from. Most people don't understand which ones are best for what and which ones will make the most gil. That's another benefit of a high quality FFXIV guide is that it should come with a gil making guide, too. No matter what race or class or disciplines you choose, a good guide not only helps you level through FFXIV, but it helps you increase the effectiveness of your play time - no matter what it is you're after.

Now that I know about Final Fantasy guides, I simply zoom through the levels and am able to make lots of gil in the process (hint - miner!). When I see poor schmucks backtracking and running around like a chicken with their head cut off I just shake my head. Too bad they haven't discovered the secret to leveling in Final Fantasy XIV. Once in a while I'll bring it up to them if they're a respectable player to help them out... but to be honest I normally would just rather keep it to myself so I can out-level most the other players. Be honest... wouldn't you? If you aren't using a FFXIV leveling guide, then the question is why not?

Unless you enjoy being left behind, you can find out more about Final Fantasy leveling guides below.
